Appraisals and Market Studies for
Low-Income Housing Tax-credit Properties
Federal tax credits are key incentives for the construction and
redevelopment of low-income, rent-restricted housing. Because of
our knowledgeable backgrounds and expertise Cambridge Partners is
one of the premier firms nationally in terms of its experience in
the appraising low-income, rent restricted housing. We are able
to provide special insight in these highly technical valuations.
To date, Cambridge has undertaken tax-credit
valuations in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri,
Michigan, Kentucky, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington,
Montana, Colorado, Oregon, California, Texas, Utah and Idaho. In
the past three years Cambridge Partners has evaluated several thousand
Low-Income Housing Tax Credit units with an aggregate value in the
hundreds of millions of dollars. Moreover, as we render appraisal
services for some of the major banks with LIHTC loans, we are often
able to save our client’s time/money by performing both market
study and appraisal services.
Dairy Processing Plants
Cambridge Partners is the premier firm nationally in terms of its
experience in the valuation of dairy plants. The rapid consolidation
of this industry in recent years has forced the closure of many
plants, and expansion of capacity at selected surviving facilities.
Over the past ten years, Cambridge has appraised over 65 dairy processing
plants with a total valuation exceeding $500 million. A clear understanding
of the feasibility of continued
operation as a dairy plant is a key component of our analysis of
